Nicole Lentfer, L.Ac.
Nicole began her interest in Chinese medicine after suffering with health problems for years and having no relief through conventional medicine.
She went to an acupuncturist on a whim and it changed her life!
After graduating from the University of Texas in 2000, she decided not to pursue her education degree, but instead to pursue a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine. She graduated at the top of her class in 2003 from the Texas College of Traditional Chinese medicine and immediately opened the Natural Health Center of Austin.
Nicole’s interests include: nutrition and cooking; martial arts, dance, and fitness; attachment parenting and support of breastfeeding mammas; healthy pets; and astrology. She lives in south Austin with her husband, Jeff Hughes, who runs a martial arts studio, son Ramsey, daughter Lilian and cat Sweetpea.
Nicole’s purpose in running the Natural Health Center is to help foster a community where the first choice in health treatment is natural medicine. Her mission is to help as many people as possible achieve their full health potential with as few prescription medications or surgeries as possible. Each year the NHCA has grown and improved to become a beautiful clinic where people come to get awesome results with natural remedies.
