Yang deficiency is similar to Qi deficiency, except it’s been going on longer and it’s a little worse. You’ll typically feel cold easily and very tired. You may have a hormone issue like adrenal fatigue or low thyroid function.
You need to stay warm, rest, and take herbs like Ginger, Black Pepper, Astragalus, and Ginseng. Use moxa. You should take some protein with each meal, and incorporate stock or bone broth into more meals. Don’t eat cold foods, but instead eat more soup, stew, and roasted foods.
